形态特征：叶片不分裂，近全缘至具齿，基部无侧生小裂片。花期8月至翌年4月。
产地分布：产西藏、陕西、湖北、四川、贵州、云南、安徽、浙江、江西、福建、湖南、广东、广西、台湾等省区。常生于森林、灌丛中，攀援于灌木、岩石上或溪边，海拔50-3200米。印度、尼泊尔、不丹、缅甸、泰国、中南半岛、菲律宾和日本也有。模式采自尼泊尔。
