形态特征：植株每年长出新假鳞茎；叶带形，先端不裂；花葶从假鳞茎基部穿鞘而出；花较大，张开；花粉块的粘盘基部两侧有丝状附属物。
形态特征：本组模式种：Cymbidium iridioides D. Don [Iridorchis gigantea (Wall. ex Lindl.) Bl.]
产地分布：约10种，分布于自喜马拉雅地区至中南半岛；我国有8种。
