百合科，16种，分布于东南亚，我国有豹子花N. pardanthina Franch. 等7种，全产西南部。多年生草本，有鳞茎，与百合属Lilium不同之处为内轮花被片与外轮花被片不相似，花被片基部有肉质的脊和垫状突起。(参阅W. E. Evans的“A Revision of the Genus Nomocharis”，载Not. Roy. Bot. Gard. Edinb. 第15卷，l－45，1925。)
